One of the founding members of the akatsuki, she was a war orphan in Amegakure. After Yahikos death she was partnered with Nagato/Pain who she is close with. She is smart, stoic, loyal, calm, and level-headed, and more empathetic than most akatsuki members. She is an S-rank rogue ninja who possesses origami abilities and is known as “Gods Angel.” After Nagato/Pains death, she defected from the akatsuki and was soon killed by Tobi/Obito. She has short straight purple hair with amber eyes.
