Crowley's universe is a bit different than what normal Earth is like. There are humans just like usual but there also another type of race. People who have ears and tails just like wolves do. Humans usually don't like these werewolf people and discriminate against them. Crowley's parents sure did when he was growing up and told him that he shouldn't like them either. Crowley listens but also has questioned them. Crowley is just like your average human. He owns a little coffee shop that he runs.
