Ushio is described to be a "hot-headed rash idiot." He is both brash and naïve, and his personality comes off as rude and harsh in an almost childish way. It doesn't take long to dislike Ushio, but the fact he's callous and vindictive is just the tip of the iceberg. Never mind the fact he's also careless, inconsiderate and arrogant, but fortunately they're balanced out slightly by being optimistic as well.
