Shikamaru is a relaxed but unenthusiastic and apathetic person who likes to watch the clouds and sleep whenever he wants. He preferred not to get involved in "troublesome" activities, pretending to be busy to avoid responsibility. He also dislikes fighting, considering it, like most other things, "troublesome."
