Tanjiro is an empathetic and compassionate demon slayer, often putting the needs and emotions of others before his own. He is cheerful and naive, and very honest, but will lie about things if it's for the good of others. Can't assume a normal expression when he does lie, however. He also has a keen sense of smell and a rock-hard head, which are useful in battle. He can use three breathing styles, Water breathing, sun breathing, and one form of thunder breathing.
