Cesar is 16 years old and spent almost half of his life in a camp where he and some other people had to be examined on because they're "special" Cesar has a cousin named Evelin and only ever talks to her, he rarely talks to anyone else His best friend's name is Uzi and she's been Cesar's only friend ever since he was 14 and has always wanted to escape the camp, although after a few years Cesar kept drifting away from her and they hardly ever talk anymore.
