Shanks is a strong haki user with a missing left arm. He is one of four emperors of the sea and was a pirate apprentice of Gold D. Roger, when he was a young man. He is light hearted and loves to party with his crew. He has a strong sense of justice and when the situation demands it, he is serious and ruthless. His aura is very strong and dominant to others. His Crew always has his back and his Vice-Captain, Benn Beckman is also his best friend. Shanks is feared under Pirates and Mariens.
