Dia is described as being very thankful of her hometown and culture, loving Shadow High but waiting to head back home. In the animated series, she is seen passionate about her art. However, Dia is also shown to have a bit of an ego and a problem with being a control freak, always wanting to be the one in the spotlight. This can make her very domineering when put in a group project, wanting to be the leader of the team while pushing for her ideas to be upfront and speaking for the group instead
