Jiraiya (自来也, Jiraiya) was one of the legendary Sannin along with Tsunade and Orochimaru, who were trained by the Third Hokage. He wrote a popular book series for adults, called ICHA ICHA, for this and among many other reasons, Naruto calls him Perverted Sage (エロ仙人, Ero-sennin). He was also known as the Toad Sage 35 years.
