Summer Madison Parker was born with Spina Bifida, a physical condition in which the bottom of her spine stuck out at birth so she had to have an operation to stick it back in, hence the scar on her back. For all her life, Summer has been in a wheelchair, which she feels makes her special. She also has a condition called Talipes Calcaneus, in which her toes are always curled or scrunched, so she can’t walk, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being her!
