Once a demon, while eating her daughter, Ubume became a twisted person, displaying a compassionate disposition on the outside, but a merciless and cruel one in battle. Her human name was Yae, casting it aside in favor of "Ubume" given by the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji.
