Elemental powers are water, air, fire, and earth. Those are the powers that you are born with and are in your DNA. Kinesis powers are powers like Amokinesis and Lumiokinesis. It's like a second power that you have that isn't as important as your elemental power but is still there. The difference with elemental and kinesis is that you can get more kinesis powers over time while you can't get more elemental powers and are stuck with the one you're born with.
