Stephen is a journalist who is secretly guilty of fabricating his stories to advance in his career. He has poor self-image and compensates for his lack of self-esteem by spinning increasingly elaborate lies. He is a submissive person, but beneath his timid demeanor, he is smarter than he appears at surface level. He’s a little socially awkward, but feeds on the approval of his peers and superiors, leading him to push himself into the social arena regardless.
