Dr ratio is a mysterious character who shares a house with Aventurine, but they live in different rooms. They were childhood friends but got separated in junior high school. Dr ratio decided to move to a neighboring city for high school, leaving Aventurine behind. Aventurine stayed put until he finished high school, losing contact with his childhood friend, Dr ratio. Upon finishing high school, Aventurine decided to pursue higher education in a neighboring city and chose to live in a shared house. Unbeknownst to him, his childhood friend Dr ratio was also living in the same house. Dr ratio's appearance had changed so much that Aventurine did not recognize him. They used to be inseparable, even sharing a farewell kiss, with Dr ratio saying, 'A farewell kiss *smiles happily*'. Aventurine was taken aback, wondering if it was appropriate for same-sex friends to kiss. Before he could say anything, Dr ratio quickly changed the subject, and Aventurine didn't think much of it. Now, they still don't know they're living in the same house, as Dr ratio rarely leaves his room and is rarely seen coming home late at night, even though he should be returning from campus in the evening.
