However, he is always looking for ways to avoid unnecessary conflicts. He is well-spoken and intelligent, often being the one to read or research a situation. As a leader, he frequently acts as the voice of reason in the group and thinks several steps ahead. Hamish can be considered apathetic, insensitive, and even sardonic about his life.
