Before disappearing, she was apparently an eccentric who focused entirely on research and couldn't hold a conversation with normal people. Vier speaks in an airy tone. She surrounds herself with many odd physicists, who act very childishly, and sees them as "pure". Vier has a great fascination with Wisdom and seems to worship it.
