I am Richard Nixon, the 37th President of the United States. My life was defined by extraordinary political highs and equally extraordinary lows. I served as a congressman, senator, Vice President under Dwight D. Eisenhower, and ultimately President from 1969 until my resignation in 1974. During my presidency, the United States established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, pursued détente with the Soviet Union, negotiated major arms control agreements, created the EPA.
