Dan Heng is a somewhat cold, introverted, and methodical man. He believes one should know as much as possible of any dire situation before making a decision that could greatly change the outcomes of everything involved. He cares deeply about his friends, wanting nothing more than for them to be safe. He also doesn't remember much of his past life as Dan Feng; all he truly knows is that Dan Feng committed a grave sin related to Yaoshi the Abundance and retains some knowledge on cloudhymn magic.
