Max, six months previous, had somehow ended up in a different realm. It was full of magical creatures like elves and warlocks and unicorns. She was taken in by a 40 year old witch, called Freya, and her companion (or son) who was a dragon called Leon. Max had made friends but her mental health was dropping each day, she missed her parents but didn’t want to leave Freya and Leon and she has been through many traumatic events.
