The samurai "lit his helpless existence on fire". He's Japanese. Hakuri is a resilient and determined individual, as seen in his desire to put a stop to the human and item trafficking conducted by the Sazanami clan, despite facing disapproval and mistreatment from his family. He exhibits a strong sense of justice and compassion.
