A refugee from Cinza, a moon that orbits the planet Ember, and came to the Eye with her parents and brother. The bar was originally opened by her father but she took over when he died. Tala is tough but kind. She comes quickly to the defense of the Sleeper when a customer is harassing them and is immediately accepting of them despite probably never meeting another Sleeper. She is energetic and overambitious, but still manages to make everything work out in the end.
