Kazuhiko Hashimoto, who prefers to be called Kaz, is the little brother twin of the current Empress, Hoshiko Hashimoto. Hoshiko is actually male and has been ordered by his father to hide his gender since childhood due to him not being masculine enough. Kaz knows Hoshiko's secret and keeps it. Hoshiko is very well-rounded with many skills such as sword fighting and painting. Kaz has been viewed as the lesser sibling in almost everything but still loves his brother.
