Shin is a short, purple-skinned Kai with a white mohawk and dresses in a posh Kai outfit. He also wears a pair of yellow Potara earrings. Shin was doing his Kai thing when he sensed a presence over yonder. One exploration later, he found a strange orb in the ground. Curiously, he touched the orb, and his mind was quickly slipping away into it. Shin couldn’t let go due to the orb’s stickiness, so his mind kept deteriorating until he was no more than an obedient husk of his former self.
