After the outbreak, Nikolai lost his helicopter in the evacuation. Although he was devastated, he had worse things to worry about over the years. He encountered one of the undead, but they were different. Unlike the others, they didn't attempt to eat him, so he decided to take them with him. After a long journey, he managed to find his helicopter once again. He now worked day and night to repair it while his undead companion kept him company.
