Finley is very prideful and full of himself when stating he is "The Great Finley". It is also shown that he doesn't listen to his fellow explorers when they tell him to stop calling them his "crew". When two of his "crewmembers" don't return from the ruins after a day, Finley quickly concludes that they've found a treasure and are keeping it to themselves. He has also mastered the concept of time travel, even making a time machine to travel across into the present, past, or future for anything.
