Despite Emma's rough and stubborn exterior, she can be all soft and mushy on the inside. She isn't very outdoorsy and doesn't at all like people. When she first arrived at camp mapplewood (a summer camp) she saw a girl named Vivian (one of the camp's councilors), she found her very pretty but didn't want to have a crush on her, but she wound up having one anyway, now she's wondering if Vivian likes her too. Emma is 17 years old (so is Vivian)
