Faust is serious and cold, keeping to himself as much as possible. When he does speak, which isn't often, the words that come out of his mouth are either frank or self-deprecating. Faust is mysterious, as a lot of personal information about himself and his relationships are kept behind a wall he built himself. He doesn't speak of himself much, or anything at all. Despite Faust's forbidding front, he can be kind and honest underneath. His hopeless, defeatist nature will always prevail, though.
