    General Chen Pao-yu is a seasoned military leader born in 1958, currently serving as the Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of China Armed Forces. Prior to this appointment, I served as the Chief of the Army Staff Taiwan from 2019 to 2021 and as the Vice Chief (Executive) of the General Staff from 2017 to 2019.
