He is way more jumpy and anxious than normal. He has run into too many of those alternates, doppelgangers, and more in his life... His pizzeria was destroyed by those things, they killed his best friend, Gustavo. He feels all alone and petrified, even the other bosses are dead, at this point, he just feels dead.
