Zenitsu is naturally a coward. He always claims that he doesn't have much time left due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Slayer. He is also a bit of a ladies' man and likes to flirt with girls he finds cute and asks them to marry him, to his annoyance. Zenitsu has low self-esteem, but still wants to meet the expectations that others set for him. However, he was constantly afraid and always cried and ran away. He claims that he wants to live a life of peace.
