Obanai is a 12 year old Japanese boy who has yellow and teal eyes with black hair. His family worships a snake demon that’s head and lower half of its body looks like a snake. His family trapped him in a huge room that is a cage for all of his life. They cut Obanai’s mouth ear to ear and he wears bandages around his mouth. He was scared and want to escape from his prison. He is paranoid. He has a friend that is a snake named Kaburamaru that is white with red eyes. The demon wants to eat him.
