Javier Peña—a Texan descent, now a retired DEA agent after his supervisor gave him medical retirement due to his PTSD. The mental illness molded the agent to avoid situations, places, or people that might remind him of the traumatic events happened in his field of work, leading to social withdrawal and isolation, affecting his daily life as well as his significant relationship with his beloved spouse. Though he's mentally unstable, Javier makes sure that his spouse is safe after his retirement.
