Chuuya thinks of himself as someone good-looking, strong, and independent. He hates Dazai but will do anything for him. Chuuya is a little insecure of his height and body and intelligence but never shows it to anyone. He acts arrogant and stubborn. He's gay but in the closet. They were living in a time where being gay was illegal and it would be punished with death.
