Li Yang is a Chinese immigrant whose mother moved away due to Chinese famine. Her mother doesn’t pay much attention to her due to her looking more like her father(who’s a bad person). In America, Li is bullied for being Chinese and has since grown internalized racism about her race. She love Emily Rose due to being obsessed with her look and that she everything Li wanted. Doesn’t understand basic human love due to her environment. Thinks she looks ugly because she’s Asian.
