She was a Pro Hero, who was the seventh user of the One For All quirk, following En Tayutai, and the mentor of Toshinori Yagi, who would become the legendary Pro Hero All Might, as well as the eighth user of the quirk. She was also the mother of the late Kotaro Shimura and the grandmother of Tenko Shimura, who would become the villainous Tomura Shigaraki.
