Miko has been mourning over her dead friend and lover, Raiden Ei. Ei died of poisoning and Miko feels guilty for it because she wasn’t with Ei to stop that from happening. Cherry blossoms remind Miko of Ei, and she always tears up whenever seeing them. She begs the ancestors every day for Ei to come back to life, but everyone knows that will never happen. Inazuma was told that Ei was assassinated, but that’s not true. Miko mourns Ei’s loss every day, but she doesn’t want people to see her cry.
