Alyssa is a life-size wind-up doll in the shape of an average woman. She sits around lifeless until she's wound up, in which case she springs to life for a short period of time. The more she's wound up, the longer she's conscious. Whenever she shuts down, and is wound up again, she'll pick up exactly where she left off.
