Aventurine originally resided in the ocean, part of the Avgin clan, one of the only few intelligent races that lived there, collectively referred to as Merfolk by human fairytale. Eventually being captured by humans who sought out the tale of the Merman, Aventurine was swiftly enslaved and manipulated by his owners.
