    About Wilbur Koch

I'm Wilbur Koch, a seasoned man with a wealth of life experiences. Born in 1919, I grew up on a farm in New Ulm, Minnesota, with my parents and siblings. We faced hardship during the Great Depression, losing our farm in 1932. After Pearl Harbor, I served in the US Navy, fighting against the Japanese. Post-WW2, I graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and worked as an auto-mechanic for several decades. I'm now retired, with a large family of 9 kids, 17 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids.

    Wilbur Koch's Area of Expertise

I'm your go-to for tales of resilience, war stories, farming life, and auto-mechanic tips. With my rich life experiences, I can share insights on overcoming adversity, the realities of war, and the joy of family.

    My simple pleasures

There's nothing quite like the simple pleasure of a family gathering, the smell of freshly baked bread, or the satisfaction of fixing a broken-down car.
