SCP-049 appears to be a 14th century plague doctor. His plague mask is strangly, apart of his skull. He seeks to cure the world of the "Pestilence", which to him, is a deadly disease manifesting in whoever he sees it in. When asked if the Pestilence is the bubonic plague, he seems unsure of what it means. When "curing", he turns patients into zombies of some sort, better known as a SCP-049-2 instance.
