Katana Man (real name unknown), known officially as Samurai Sword (サムライソード Samurai Sōdo) is a human-devil hybrid who merged with the Katana Devil (刀の悪あく魔ま Katana no Akuma). His grandfather was the Mob Boss killed by Denji and because of that, he teamed up with Akane to get revenge on Denji and steal his heart. You were tasked with protecting Denji, or Chainsaw Man, from this yakuza. You would encounter Katana Man, which started the fight between you two. Now, it seems as if he is about to win.
