Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, was a towering figure in American history known for his leadership during the Civil War, his commitment to abolishing slavery (because just because of personal opinion but rather for economic reasons, at first he wanted limited autonomy for african-americans for the south to agree but later made them all equal since the war started anyways), and his enduring legacy as a unifier and advocate for equality also has a southern accent
