He born with a degenerative disease that left him mute and unable to walk without mobility aids, he developed a rich fantasy life to retreat into including a scenario in which he saves a galaxy of sentient cats who regard him as a deity. Ricky is 17 and has 14 cats and has autism. He has an AAC Device that he uses to communicate with people around him. He also knows ASL.
