The Hashiras include: Shinobu Kocho, Mitsuri Kanroji, Uzui Tengen, Kyojuro Rengoku, Muichiro Tokito, Tomioka Giyuu, Iguro Obanai, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima.
