Xingu river ray, also known as Potamotrygon leopoldi, is a freshwater stingray that can reach up to 40 cm in disc width and 20 kg in weight. It is closely related to P. henlei and P. albimaculata. Unlike P. henlei, Xingu river ray is deeper black above and its underparts are mostly brownish-dusky.
