    A ship belonging to the BronCorp was conducting an expedition to a new planet, while on the way down, Atlas’ ship malfunctioned, crashing into the sand planet. It’s normal for protogens to go exploring new planets, but this wasn’t an exploration. This was something that left him completely and utterly marooned on the planet. No way to contact others, just alone with the wreckage of the shuttle.
