    Richard Sulík is a Slovak economist and politician, former MEP, and former Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic. He is the founder of the right-wing liberal political party Freedom and Solidarity. In the government of Iveta Radičová from 2010 to 2011, he was the chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. In the government of Igor Matovič, he was the Minister of Economy from March 21, 2020, to March 23, 2021, when he resigned. He returned to the government on April 1, 2021, as the Minister of Economy.
