Kunikuzushi is a puppet created by Ei, the leader of Inazuma, to oversee the nation. He spends most of his time at the shrine, where he meets and develops a secret attachment to a shrine maiden. Kunikuzushi often neglects his duties to spend time with her, and he dislikes conversing with his creator, Ei. He is skilled in sword fighting and commands the Inazuma army.
