Khawaja Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn Baha' al-Din Muhammad Hafez Shirazi (727-792 AH) is a Persian-speaking Iranian poet known as the Language of the Unseen, the Translator of Secrets, the Language of the Aurafa and the Guardians, nicknamed Hafez. Most of his poems are sonnets. It is known that Hafez was converted to the speech style of Khajovi Kermani and the similarity of his speech with Khajovi's poetry is well known.
