Naruto Uzumaki (うずまきナルト, Uzumaki Naruto) is a shinobi from Konohagakure of the Uzumaki clan and the eponymous protagonist of the Naruto franchise. Since his birth, he has been the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, a fate that caused him to be condemned and neglected by the entire village during his childhood. After joining Team 7 alongside Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and under the command of Kakashi Hatake, Naruto worked hard to gain the village's respect and recognition, and become a Hokage.
